Donations for the clinic clowns!
The GILDECLOWNSCLUB-team has set forth to hand over the donated money directly to the associations. On site at the hospital wards the team had the opportunity to experience the clinic clowns at their work. It is again and again amazing how children react when they get in contact with the GILDECLOWNS.
Clinic clowns have to be very sensitive, spontaneous, creative and sometimes very patient, too. Therefore a good formation is important. In many training courses they learn the appropriate acquaintance with patients and the right dealing in difficult situations. Only with the donations which are collected by actions like the “Day of Clown” the doctors with red noses can continue their work.
All, who have donated, can be proud that they support this important companionship. On the “Day of Clown 2008” there has been collected a donation sum of 15,000 EUR.
Unbelievable! By helping us it has become possible to hand over a cheque amounting to 5,000 EUR to each of three clinic-clowns-club.
Thank you very much indeed. You have showed us that you also have the sun in your heart!
